It should be said that Jurassic Park's raptors were led by "the big one," the largest raptor of the pack, and Jurassic World took this idea and made the raptors susceptible to an alpha of various type. (And yes, the Velociraptors of the film were highly inaccurate even when it first came out.) To put it frankly, Jurassic Park is a good movie in terms of characters and action, and many of its dinosaurs were surprisingly anatomically accurate for the time, but it's a horrible source for looking for clues to a dinosaur's behavior and got so many things wrong about the Velociraptor in both behavioral and anatomical, even for its time, that it's a bit painful. They are based on the fictional movie monster that Jurassic Park incorrectly calls Velociraptor. The thing is, Speed Stingers aren't actually based on Velociraptors or any Dromaesaurs. This left me very few topics to address.Īnother thing I wanted to do is base some behavioral theories on the Velociraptor and other Dromaesaurs (the dinosaurs known informally as "raptors"). We know things like their diet, where they live, how they hunt, how different varieties arose, ect. While looking for theories, I found numerous canon inconsistencies, but I also found that a lot of typical questions to ask about the dragon have mostly already been answered by canon information despite the inconsistencies. Here's my Speed Stinger theories, as requested by Okamisusi ! Yeah, so.doing this guy was interesting.
